Disability Awareness TrainingColorado DVR has developed a Disability Awareness Training toolkit that contains presentations, activities, DVD’s, and handouts covering a number of topics. They include Disability Etiquette, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Accommodations, the Benefits of Hiring People with Disabilities, and DVR 101. The presentations and activities can be customized to meet your organization’s needs. Our staff can come to your place of business to conduct the training. Whether you are an organization which desires to develop a culture that recognizes the value of diversity and accessibility, or you are an organization which desires to strengthen this culture, our toolkit should have something for you. If it doesn’t, we can prepare something for you. If you’re interested in learning more about disability awareness training, you may contact a DVR office or the DVR State Office. We have also loaded our Disability Awareness Training menu on this website for your review. |
