Office of Disability and Employment Policy
Americans with Disabilities Act & Reasonable Accommodation Job Accommodation NetworkThe Job Accommodation Network is a service provided by the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy(ODEP). JAN is one of several ODEP projects. JAN's mission is to facilitate the employment and retention of workers with disabilities by providing employers, employment providers, people with disabilities, their family members and other interested parties with information on job accommodations, entrepreneurship, and related subjects. JAN's efforts are in support of the employment, including self-employment and small business ownership, of people with disabilities. JAN represents the most comprehensive resource for job accommodations available. Emergency Services
CDHS oversees the state’s 64 county departments of social/human services, the state’s mental health system, Colorado’s system of services for people with developmental disabilities, the state’s juvenile correction system and all state and veteran nursing homes, through more than 5,000 employees and thousands of community-based service providers. Friends of Man EmploymentWorkforce Centers provide a variety of free services to assist employers and job seekers alike. These include: job listings, computer & internet access, career counseling & training for job seekers; and recruitment of workers, pre-screening & referral services, tax credits, and training reimbursement for employers.
